John Bernard
worked for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for 32 years, before retiring
in 1994 as the Administrator of the Pittsburgh office. John also worked at the
Community College of Allegheny County for 12 years as the Director of the
Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT).
John is a licensed psychologist, a Certified
Rehabilitation Counselor, and a licensed Pennsylvania Professional Counselor. He
has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg College and a
Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Rehabilitation Counseling.
He has also done post-graduate work in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration
at the University of Pittsburgh.
John has been President of SHOUT for 15 years.
