Dave Bostick
Dave Bostick worked for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for 39 years
before retiring in 2007 as a supervisor in the Pittsburgh office. He had
been involved at the beginning of what was called the “Jim Prentice Project,” a
collaborative effort between OVR and Westinghouse to bring successful
competitive employment to an individual with most significant physical
disabilities. The success of that effort inspired him to maintain active
interest and support of SHOUT, where “some of the most interesting stuff was
going on in rehabilitation anywhere.” |
